1. Firstly, get 3-4 pieces of colored/ map papers. (Don't use very thick paper)

2. There are four sections to this book. Each section is your choice from 3-4 pages. We will be working on one section at a time. If you choose to do three pieces of paper per section, you would need 12 pieces of paper for the inside pages of the book ; If yont want four per section have a total of 16 pieces of paper.

Materials needed Book final size= 15cm x 23cm

- 12-16 pieces of paper ( colored paper as well. ( 9'' x 12''z)

-cardstock (6'' x 9'') -popsicle stick -an exact0-knife -string - sewing needle , scissors, pencil , (glue that wont create bubbles between paper and corkboard),

- Cover pages : exacto-knife around the body of your book to get precise (do under something that wont get ruined ( mat?)

#3: fold paper like hamburgers (horizontally) seen with image one (blue, black, and white papers). Smooth with popsicle stick

5. Stack all the papers together to make it look as one paper,

6.

Put tail of string like this with a clip as so, from the outside of the book;(where the tail will be) c#4: put markings on your journal: the marks will be listed bottom to top : on at 1.3 cm at 4.6 cm up, 6.3 cm up, 10.7 cm up. 11.9 cm up, 16.7 ( cm up, 17.8 cm up, 21.5 cm up.

Stack all the papers together to make it look as one paper,

7. Put markings on your journal: the marks will be listed bottom to top : on at 1.3 cm at 4.6 cm up, 6.3 cm up, 10.7 cm up. 11.9 cm up, 16.7 ( cm up, 17.8 cm up, 21.5 cm up.

Stack all the papers together to make it look as one paper,

Make holes in the middle of the crease where the markings are with the AWL tool. Sew outside-to inside stich. ( Don't switch up pattern).

8. Put the string through the loop on the sewing needle. Make sure you have extra string on the ends like shown in the image to your right. Secure extra string with a binder clip.

.

9. Continually keep the patter inside to outside until you get to the end, look every hole through. BE CONSISTENT AND PATIENT. Also, make sure pull tight, you don't want it too loose. also be sure to start crossing thread under previous stiches, making an "X" pattern. This is what all the stiches will look like from the inside.

10. My book to the right is what the outside stitching should look like.

Now restart the process exactly how you did before. Start to interlope the stitching. They should end up looking like an "X". Remember, loops thread underneath the preexisting thread.

11. Repeat.

12. Poke holes through the middle most paper, through all the papers together. Making holes in the middle of the crease & sew out to in repeating the pattern before with the other section.

13: After you are done with the last step you loop the holes through the top right string hole. after weave it inside and outside the book; continue weaving through the top right side as well!

Continue to the end and repeat the process all over.

Once your new section is sewn in all four sections through the right top stick and in and out pattern through the spine. You need to hook the needle through the last single loop. and to tie off the end.

14. Take cardstock and put quarter sized clue and brush it with medium paintbrush outwards.

15. PVA Glue to cardstock to front of one end page and glue on the cardboard. Use the popsicle stick to smooth out the glue and any bumps out from the glue.

16. Glue the Cover-page on top of the cardstock and use the same glue technique as before. Do both sides different designs/colored paper.

17. Clip all together & let dry for at least two hours.

This is how your final result should look like besides the middle ripped :(
